The Young and the Restless

Did I hear Paul right and was he truly talking about Victoria or someone else? Is she his daughter and not Victor's? I know that anything is possible but I cannot remember who is whose anymore so that is baffling to me.

I certainly do hope they do not kill Victoria off but on soaps I can imagine them doing so because how else can they have someone haunt others except by first killing them, hehe.

Have a great Haunting Halloween everyone!

Anyone Agree? (Two-and-a-Half Men)

Does anyone agree that the series is seeming to be getting boring. It was great in the begining when the boy was young and cute and Charlie (Charlie Sheen) was horny and had a different episode and maybe even more.

Yes, I know that a man must someday grow up or at least that is the hope for the family members involved but damn him dating the same gal for several episodes is simply not Charlie at all.

Jake (Angus Jones) is now a junior high-schooler now and simply looks awkward and is really no longer half a man. For me the cuteness has worn off. Angus is very good actor but I simply think it is time for him to go and the series to end.

What can I say it was good in the hay day but that day is long gone!

The Big Bang Theory

The best new comedy of the season! I love the fact that nerds can be funny, too. There is also the fact that there is a semi reunion of the cast of Roseanne with the actors Johnny Galecki (Leonard) who was David on Roseanne and Sara Gilbert(Leslie) whom played Roseanne's middle child, D.J., and then of course in one episode Laurie Metcalf(Mary) Roseanne's sister Jackie.

Kaley Cuoco and the other cast members bring a fresh new look to the fact that nerds are people too and need friends as well. I have to say that I have always been attracted to the nerd type of person and know that they are just as loveable, if not more so, as the jock or metro-sexual.

The Bachelor

Why? Why, would Brad chose Bettina after the terrible family home date that occured. I think he shoud have picked Sheena whom he let go. Jenni and DeAnna are the other two left to go on a weekend in Cabo San Lucas next week. The Bachelor Homepage

I have to say that that is the same place in which Bret Michaels took his last two remaining girls on his bachelor show on VH-1's Rock of Love

Desperate Housewives

Last night was good although I have to say not its best episode ever. In the beginning of the episode the gay couple, bob and Lee, got a new sculpture/fountain that the housewives were not liking at all so the confronted the couple in hopes just the number of them would cause them to take it down -- that did not happen of course. The housewives therefore decided to revamp the Homeowners Association that until now was not an issue. Bob and Lee are not into doing the outside or open to being friends with their neighbors because they just want to be left alone to live their own life. The one that wants so desperately to befriend the couple is Susan and that is the one they hate the most.

The homeowners association needs a president and thus Lynette and Katherine, the newest housewife go at it and Katherine wins after campaigning hard to win the election. Her reign is tainted though by the fact that Bob and Lee know of the secret she is keeping from the rest of the Wisteria community.

And that is how it ends.

Saturday Night

I had to really look for something to watch I finally found Road Trip(2000) on TBS. I certainly am not into the World Series of Baseball and any college football. I had already found out that Mizzou won there game and to me that is all that matters since I got my graduate degree there in social work. My undergraduate school Cal State Fullerton does not have a football team so I don't have to worry about how they do and the college team where my husband teaches always loses and besides they will never be on tv anyway.

Tonight there will actually be a new Desperate Housewives, thankfully something to watch...Fridays and Saturdays are so boring for tv watching, sigh!

Friday Night was a Bore

There was absolutely nothing on the network stations. I actually turned the tv off early because reading and sleep sounded so much better than nothing. I did watch Deal or No Deal though where a a man could have won the million dollar prize if he had only stuck with his gut but he didn't and gave in to the pressure of family and friends at $236,000. As I told my husband I would have stayed in all the way after everything on the left side of the board but the one million dollars was eliminated. I feel that I have nothing to lose at that point and heck I came to play knowing that I could come out with just one hundred dollars in the end. As long as I had fun that is all that would matter to me. Of course, my husband said that he would have fainted after I did not take the $236,000 but oh well sooner or later he would have come to and realize that I ended up with more.

The next good night of television will be Sunday night when Desperate Housewives comes on.

Reality Lover

The one thing I love the most is reality television and the drama that it includes. I feed off the fact that people when placed in the same vicinity with each other manage to find a million and one things they hate about at least one of the persons they are forced to live around for a certain time period.

The reality shows I watch most frequently are: Big Brother, Amazing Race, Survivor, and The Bachelor/Bachelorette. I also watch the reality shows on VH-1, MTV, and sometimes CMT. I can't help it I just love watching the cat fights and other fights that happen among the competitors.

This blog thus will include much talk about reality tv and the dramas that happen in them. On the event that I watch something that brings up issues that I want to speak about then I will include it here. I will bring up issues brought about through the soap operas I watch which are: The Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, Another World, and Guiding Light.

The night shows I like to watch are: Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, ER, and Private Practice just to name a few that I can think of off the top of my head with my two girls ( 5 and 2) asking questions while I write this post. I also have a eleven-year-old boy but he is at a friend's house at the moment.

I have two other blogs that you may want to check out as well: Marvelous One's Mommy Mind Maze , Marvelous Melia's Computer Gaming Review .
